Lady Raiders go 3-0 to win Knockout Cancer Classic

Benjamin Logan’s softball team went 3-0 on Friday and Saturday to win the Knockout Cancer Classic at Newton.

The Raiders beat Brookville 14-6 on Friday and then won over Newton (11-2) and Versailles (12-4) on Saturday.

In the win over Brookville, the Raiders piled up 16 hits. Tahlsa Bowshier went 3-5 with a double, triple and three RBI, Taylor Coy went 3-4 with three RBI, Taylor Quay went 3-5 with a home run and five RBI, Darrian Rockhold went 2-5 with an RBI.

Kate Campbell was the winning pitcher.

Ben Logan’s bats stayed hot Saturday. The Raiders hammered out 19 hits in the win over Newton.

Offensive for the Raiders, Bowshier went 3-5 with a double and two RBI, Campbell went 3-5 with a double and an RBI, Sydney Evans went 4-5 with a double and two RBI, Shelby Harvey went 3-3 with a home run and three RBI, Quay went 3-4, Rockhold went 2-3 with a home run and three RBI.
