Benjamin Logan’s boys and girls track teams both came away with wins in their home opener Tuesday after defeating Delaware Hayes and Lima Central Catholic in a tri-meet.

The Raiders won the boys meet with 77 points, the Pacers were second with 60 points and the Thunderbirds were third with 34 points.
Ben Logan’s girls also won their meet with 77 points, while Delaware Hayes came in second with 52 points and LCC was third with 39 points.
Sparking the Ben Logan boys with first-place finishes were Davis Bowers in the pole vault (11-6), Saul Boysel in the discus (114-10), De’Sean Ward in the 400 (56.6), Andy Griffith in the 110 hurdles (18.7), the 800 relay of Mack Horton, Ward, Bowers and Jeremy Brisson (1:38.1) and the 3,200 relay Wyatt Warren, Orin Reames, Bryce Gray and Cameron Johnson (9:58.8).
Runner-up spots went to Aaron Crosby in the high jump (5-6), Boysel in the shot put (38-6), Josh Lowe in the discus (114-5), Logan Cox in the pole vault (9-0), Derek Weiser in the 400 (57.3), Gabe VanDyke in the 110 hurdles (19.07), Trent Rees in the 300 hurdles (47.8), Brisson in the 200 (24.1), the 400 relay of Horton, Rees, Bowers and Brisson (46.4) and the 1,600 relay of Rees, Ward, Bowers and Weiser (3:53.06).
