Bellefontaine Chiefs

Bellefontaine’s boys and girls track and field teams delivered strong performances Saturday as both squads came away with second-place finishes at the Circleville Relays.

“We were able to mold together the seasoned veterans with many fresh new faces,” said BHS head coach Ben Davis. “It was a positive day for our teams.”

Earning wins for the BHS boys were the shot put relay of Chantz Rose and Chase Miller, the distance medley of David Guajardo, Dylan Carpenter, Miller and Ryan Dunn (8:08.2) and the 6,400 relay of Wes Samuels, Jay Clement, Guajardo and Dunn (20:30.7).
