Drake Roebuck and Connor Burton each drove in three runs to lead visiting Bellefontaine to a 10-5 win over host Vandalia-Butler in a non-league baseball game Friday.
The Chiefs, who had not played since a 5-0 win over West Liberty-Salem on Monday, are now 2-0 on the season.
Bellefontaine led 1-0 after one inning and then exploded for five runs in the top of the third for a 6-0 lead.
The Aviators came back with three runs in the bottom of the third and another in the fourth to make the score 6-4.
Bellefontaine opened up some breathing room with a two-run fifth for an 8-4 lead.
The Chiefs tacked on two more in the top of the seventh.
Vandalia-Butler rounded out the scoring with a run in the bottom of the seventh.
Roebuck went 2-3 with a double.
Jarrod Houchin also had a good day at the plate, going 2-4 with a triple. It was his second triple of the week.
