It was an ugly start for Benjamin Logan against Riverside on Tuesday. The finish was much more impressive for the Raiders.

Ben Logan committed seven errors in the first two innings as the Pirates jumped out to a 7-1 lead.
However, the host Raiders scored eight runs over the final five frames to rally for a 9-7 victory in a non-league softball contest.
Ben Logan is now 1-1 on the season. The Pirates drop to 0-2.
Riverside scored four runs in the top of the first inning. After Ben Logan plated a run in the bottom of the first, the Pirates put three more runs on the board in the second inning to up their lead to 7-1.
“We had two terrible defensive innings in the first and second,” said Ben Logan head coach John Stahl. “But after that we were flawless. We played great defense the rest of the way, and our bats came alive with 12 hits. Darrian (Rockhold) and Kate (Campbell) both pitched well. We didn’t give up an earned run in the game.”
