Riverside High School recently recognized its athletes during their winter awards banquet.
In boys basketball, Dalton Bollinger was selected as the Most Valuable Player and had the most rebounds, Kurt Waters was the most improved player, Shane Crawford received the hustle award, Kolt Shough won the award for best free-throw percentage and Ross Stevens received a scholar-athlete award.
For girls basketball, Brooke Hickey and Monica Hurley were selected as co-Most Valuable Players. Samantha Egbert and Emily Teague shared the most improved player award; Hurley received the hustle award, Hickey won the award for most rebounds and best free-throw percentage and scholar-athlete awards went to Egbert, Hurley, Taylor Stevens and Teague.
In cheerleading, Lauren Huffman received a four-year varsity award.
