Triad’s Boyd named to all-OHC first team



Triad sophomore Ryan Boyd was the lone local player to land a spot on the first team on the recently released all-Ohio Heritage Conference boys basketball squad.

West Liberty-Salem’s Connor Woods was named to the OHC second team, while honorable mention picks went to the Tigers’ Ben Burden and the Cardinals’ Collin Wilson and Seth Donohoe.

Mechanicsburg’s Matt Bogan was named the OHC player of the year.

Making up the rest of the first team were Bogan, Greeneview’s Dalton Caudill, Southeastern’s Jake Bertemes and Cedarville’s Hudson Grant.

The second team squad also included Mechanicsburg’s Nick Callicoat and Brandon Purk, Springfield Catholic Central’s Will Johnson and Greeneview’s Ethan Bradds.

Rounding out the honorable mention list were Northeastern’s Nick Wiseman, Southeastern’s James South and Colton Spears and Cedarville’s Craig Oldiges and Brant Wickline.
