High expectations create an environment that all of the best wrestling programs in Ohio possess.

The elite programs often embody hard work, dedication and a commitment to getting better. While Indian Lake has yet to move into the group of the state’s top programs, the Lakers are consistently one of the better Division II squads in Southwest Ohio.
“I think it is the expectation,” said Indian Lake head coach Scott Tressler. “We expect them to perform well. They realize throughout the season, with our schedule, that if they aren’t where they need to be they won’t be successful in the postseason. They know how hard they need to work and realize what needs to be done to get it done at the district and state level.”
