BHS, BL each qualify 6 for next round of postseason

TIPP CITY — It was almost a mirror performance by Benjamin Logan and Bellefontaine’s wrestling teams here Saturday at the Division II sectional tournament.

The Raiders and Chiefs each qualified six wrestlers out of the Tippecanoe 2 sectional site and finished fourth and fifth respectively in the team race.

“I felt five-to-eight qualifiers was possible,” said Ben Logan head coach Tony Grant. “So, we were right where we should have been. We had one disappointing match, but everyone else did pretty well. We had 11-of-14 guys finish in the top six, and you can’t complain about that.”
