Bellefontaine outlasted Indian Lake in overtime to win a local boys basketball thriller Saturday night.
The visiting Lakers led by nine points in the first quarter and also held a nine-point lead in the second half.
Bellefontaine was able to battle back and go ahead in the fourth quarter. A bucket by Jalon Tuttle tied the game for Indian Lake with 39 seconds left in regulation.
Bellefontaine had a chance to win the game in the final seconds, but missed a pair of shots.
In overtime, the Chiefs outscored the Lakers 9-6 to pull out a 60-57 win.
Indian Lake's Christian Grider scored a game-high 31 points. Max Oyer led the Chiefs with 21 points.
