Benjamin Logan and West Liberty-Salem’s boys bowling teams, along with Bellefontaine’s girls team, all continued their postseason Thursday by advancing to the Division II district tournament.
The three local squads competed in the sectional tournament at Marian Lanes in Huber Heights and finished high enough to move on as teams.
The Tiger boys came in fifth, the Raider boys were seventh, while the Chieftain girls finished eighth in their tournament.
Urbana won the boys sectional tournament with 4,539, Northwestern was second with 4,118, Kenton Ridge took third with 4,105, Versailles was fourth with 4,053 and WL-Salem was fifth with 3,940. Ben Logan came in seventh with 3,887. Indian Lake finished 14th with 3,550.
