Sometimes, you just can’t say no.
I’ve been busier than I’ve ever been this wrestling season. In addition to my duties at the Examiner, I’m the head coach of the Bellefontaine middle school wrestling team and I coach the youngest age group of our kids club as well.
Somehow, though, I’ve managed to put together the 11th edition of The LaBatt Report. I really don’t know how I found time or created the time to do it again.
I couldn’t say no.
For anyone unfamiliar with myself or this column, I’m a wrestling fanatic. I live and breathe this sport and this season is a prime example of that. I love to research and analyze to see how our area kids might fare in the postseason, and The LaBatt Report is my thoughts on paper.
Last year’s report was nearly 50 pages. It forecasts half of the state in Division II covering the Southwest and Northwest District tournaments.
