Chiefs’ title hopes hinge on rematch with Arrows

Bellefontaine Chiefs

A loss to Springfield Shawnee on Monday has made Bellefontaine’s quest for a league championship much more challenging.

By falling to the Braves, Bellefontaine fell back into a first-place tie with Shawnee and Tecumseh atop the Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail division standings.

With two league games left, the Chiefs, Braves and Arrows each have 6-2 records.

Bellefontaine (10-6) goes on the road Friday to play the Arrows (14-3) in a game with huge title implications.
