The Central Buckeye Conference swim meet was pushed back a week because of bad weather last weekend. The wait was worth it for the Bellefontaine girls team.
The Chiefs came through with a second-place effort out of 12 teams.
“We had a fantastic showing,” said BHS head coach Sharon Lewis. “I am immensely proud of our team.”
Tippecanoe won the girls meet with 349 points. Bellefontaine had the next-best total with 184 points. Shawnee (161), Kenton Ridge (148) and Tecumseh (115) rounded out the top five. Indian Lake’s girls finished eighth with 28 points and Ben Logan was 10th with 21 points.
