After two meetings, Tippecanoe simply can’t figure how how to be successful against Bellefontaine.

Bellefontaine followed up a 13-point win over the Red Devils earlier in the season with a 24-point dismantling of their Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail division rival Friday night.

The host Chiefs outscored the Red Devils 31-13 in the second half to take a surprisingly lopsided 55-31 victory.

Bellefontaine stays atop the Kenton Trail standings at 6-1. The Chiefs, who hold a 1-game lead over Tecumseh, are now 10-5 overall

Two of the Red Devils’ three losses this season have come at the hands of Bellefontaine.

“It was a really good defensive effort tonight,” said BHS head coach Henry Stolly. “I am really proud of the kids. They were locked in and did a great job playing together as a team.”
