Hillclimbers beat Raiders, remain in command of CBC Mad River division

A third-quarter surge allowed Urbana’s boys basketball team to pull away from host Benjamin Logan in a Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division game Friday night.

The Hillclimbers opened up some breathing room by outscoring the Raiders 14-6 in the third quarter en route to a 59--4 victory.

With the win, Urbana stays in control of the Mad River division race at 7-0. The Hillclimbers are 10-4 overall.

The loss drops the Raiders to 6-10 overall and 1-6 in the league.

Urbana held a 16-13 edge after the opening quarter the visitors led by five points (29-24) at halftime.
