It’s that time of the season where marquee matches become more and more frequent.
The postseason is still a few weeks away, but this Saturday the Central Buckeye Conference at Graham High School features a number of intriguing and exciting matchups. Wrestling starts at 10 a.m.
Graham, which is currently ranked fifth in the nation, holds 10 of the top seeds and has 12 out of 14 wrestlers seeded for the tournament.
Locally, Indian Lake state placer L.J. Henderson is the top seed at 170 pounds and Benjamin Logan state qualifier Beau Swank is the top seed at 220 pounds.
Henderson, who placed fourth in Columbus last season, will have the toughest bout ahead of him. He will meet Graham state placer Lane Thomas, who was fifth, in the finals.
