Career-high performances from Jenna Ober and Abby Ehrenborg propelled Triad past host Mechanicsburg 66-57 on Thursday in Ohio Heritage Conference action.
The win improves the Cardinals to 9-7 overall and 7-4 in the OHC, while the Indians fall to 8-7, 4-6.
Ober, a sophomore guard for Triad, led the way with a career-high 20 points and Ehrenborg, a freshman guard, had a career-high 18 points to spark the offense.
It was also a big night for M’burg junior guard Jamie Dodane, who scored the 1,000th point of her career. She is the first boy or girl basketball player in school history to achieve the milestone as an underclassman. She now has 1,027 career points.
