Winning close games has not been easy for Bellefontaine’s girls basketball team over the last few years. After watching his squad pull out a 60-53 win at Triad on Wednesday, BHS head coach Brian Hogan hopes that trend is changing.

“I am proud of the girls for how they kept their composure,” said Hogan. “We made a few adjustments to put ourselves in better situations, and the girls responded well down the stretch.”
In an effort to offset Bellefontaine’s advantage inside, the smaller Cardinals threw some full-court pressure at the Chiefs to increase the tempo.
