Indian Lake boys out to regain momentum

A momentum shift is what Indian Lake’s basketball team is looking for.

The Lakers are coming off back-to-back losses, and a win over host Greenon on Friday in Central Buckeye Conference Mad River play would give them the jolt they need.

“We have goals as a team and we are staying focused on those goals,” said IL head coach David Starr. “We have struggled some this season and as long as we can identify and correct our mistakes, that is what is important.”

Indian Lake (5-7, 4-1) looks to make a season sweep of Greenon (4-7, 2-2) Friday after beating the Knights 68-60 back in December.

“Our league games are what is most important right now,” said Starr. “I think we’ve done a good job of establishing ourselves as a competitor in the division. We want to take it game by game and give ourselves that opportunity.”
