BOWLING: Ben Logan boys cut down Falcons

The Benjamin Logan boys varsity bowling team turned in another strong effort Thursday with a 2,446-2,081 win over Graham in Central Buckeye Conference action.

Josh Wiley rolled games of 202 and 229 to lead the Raiders. Harvey McCann had a 190 game, Garrett Ashcraft posted games of 196 and 197, Logan Wenger fired a 180 game, Mitchel Johnston had a 191 game and Tristin Harshfield added a 162 game.

Graham won the girls match 2,395- 2,090. Deanndra Carpenter led the Raiders with a 174 game and Jenna Payton added a 323 series.

Abigail Ogden paced the Falcons with a 234 game and a 195 game. Emily Mitchell added a 215 game.

Bellefontaine bowlers split with Shawnee

Bellefontaine’s girls bowling team won over Springfield Shawnee 2,239-1,802 on Thursday.

Sierra Rhoades fired games of 212 and 188 for a 400 series to lead the Chieftains. Allie Skelly had games of 211 and 157 for a 368 series, Hannah Davis posted games of 188 and 166 for a 354 series and Haley Watkins contributed a 153 game.

In the boys match, Shawnee recorded a 2,701-2,552 victory.

Devin Legge led the BHS boys with games of 227 and 205 for a 432 series. Cody Hullinger turned in games of 199 and 198 for a 397 series, Dylan Legge had games of 170 and 213 for a 383 series and Cale Sterling had a 205 game.

WL-Salem boys bounce M’burg

Logan Woolley shot a 254 game to lead West Liberty-Salem’s boys bowling team to a 2,710-2,571 win over Mechanicsburg in recent action.

Also for the Tigers in the win, Phil Davis posted a 236 game, Justin Dallas rolled a 201 game, Brad Burt had a 200 game and Gage Rudasill added a 184 game.

The Indians won the girls mach 2,593-1,787.

For the Tigers, Emily Crook fired a 200 game, Sami Lay had a 145 game and Darby Thomas added a 129 game.
