Calvary teams play at home of Indiana Pacers

The Calvary Christian junior high and high school basketball teams enjoyed a memorable experience Friday by playing games at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse, the home of the NBA’s Indiana Pacers, in Indianapolis.

The junior high Spartans beat the Ohio Eagles 42-39 to move their record to 3-1 on the season. Scoring in double digits for the Spartans were Josh Kilgore (13 points), Andrew Reinhard (12 points) and Daniel Wilt (10 points). Kilgore also had 13 rebounds and Max Schottelkotte added five rebounds.

The varsity squad fell to 53-21 to the Eagles. Blake Wenger scored nine points for the Spartans, while Ben Tanner added six in the loss.
