Raiders outlast WL-Salem 67-66 in 3 overtimes

Benjamin Logan’s boys basketball team survived a gritty triple-overtime battle with visiting West Liberty-Salem on Saturday to come away with a 67-66 non-league victory.

The win stopped an eight-game losing skid for the Raiders, who are now 5-8. The Tigers slip to 4-7.

Ben Logan’s Tanner Rader and WL-Salem’s Connor Woods each had a big night for their respective teams.

Rader led the winners with 22 points, while Woods poured in a game-high 30 points for the Tigers.

It was a back-and-forth tussle throughout the evening.
