Stolly, Ochs-Naderer win Liberty Half Marathon

Area runners kicked off the New Year by competing in the 4th annual Liberty Half Marathon on Wednesday morning.

The 13.1 mile race started at Marie’s Candies in West Liberty and ended near Reliant Mechanical Inc. in East Liberty.

Terry Stolly was the overall winner setting a new course record in 1:24.30. Former course record holder Earl Zilles placed second in 1:29.26.

Christine Ochs-Naderer was the women’s overall winner in 1:45.05.
