The Chieftain girls finished third out of 16 teams and were the highest placing squad among the eight teams representing the Central Buckeye Conference in the field.
Bellefontaine’s boys had a solid performance as well, taking seventh out of 16 teams.
“I am really proud of where our teams are at this point in the season,” said BHS head coach Sharon Lewis. “We are continuing to improve stroke technique and working hard with our conditioning. The teams are finishing well in large meets and I’m impressed to see our girls outscoring so many conference teams today.”
