Indian Lake’s boys basketball team fired on all cylinders against host Northwestern on Friday and picked up a 79-35 Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division victory.
The win bumps the Lakers to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the CBC Mad River division, while the Warriors tumble to 1-4, 0-2.
Indian Lake jumped out to a 17-2 lead after the opening quarter. The Lakers outscored Northwestern 29-7 in the second quarter for a commanding 46-9 halftime advantage.
The Lakers pushed their lead to 41 points (64-23) after three quarters.
Christian Grider powered the Lakers with 18 points. Cole Wurster had 13 points, Ivan Reichert scored 12 and Jalon Tuttle added nine points in the win.
