Bellefontaine’s boys and girls swim teams swept a five-team meet Friday at Tecumseh against the host Arrows, Benjamin Logan, Northwestern and Springfield Shawnee.
“I was very happy with the results as this was one of our hardest conditioning weeks so far this season,” said BHS head coach Sharon Lewis. “These swimmers are consistently giving me their best in every practice and race and the results are showing their drive to improve.”
The Chieftain girls won handily with 123 points. The Warriors were second with 64 points, the Braves were third with 57 points, the Arrows were fourth with 18 points and the Raiders took fifth with 15 points.
Bellefontaine’s boys also won by a wide margin with 95.5 points. Tecumseh took second with 50 points, Springfield Shawnee came in third with 38 points, Northwestern was fourth with 35.5 points and Ben Logan was fifth with 12 points.
