A fourth-quarter surge by Riverside’s girls basketball team resulted in a 44-39 comeback win over host Lima Perry on Thursday in Northwest Central Conference action.
The Pirates are now 2-2 overall and 1-0 in the NWCC.
Perry raced to a 13-4 lead after the opening quarter and held a 23-11 advantage at halftime.
In the third quarter, Perry extended the lead to 14 points at 35-21.
The Commodores led by 15 points at one point in the fourth quarter, but the Pirates refused to give up and used a 23-4 run to come away with the win.
Brooke Hickey powered the Riverside offense with 17 points, six rebounds and five steals. Monica Hurley added six points and five rebounds and Emily Teague had seven points.
