Lakers’ Fry earns academic honor

Indian Lake High School senior soccer player Daniel Fry was recently awarded the Senior Excellence Award.

The award is sponsored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. It is awarded for “exceptional contributions to the team while exemplifying the finest attributes of a high school student-athlete as a player.”

Fry currently has a 3.7 GPA. He was a four-year varsity letterwinner, was a two-time captain for the Lakers and helped lead the team to a 10-7 record and the Lakers’ first Central Buckeye Conference title this fall. He also earned sportsmanship awards from both the CBC and the Miami-Valley district.
