Balanced Lakers run away from Kenton

When Indian Lake was able to get the tempo going in its favor, Kenton simply could not keep up Monday night.

The athletic Lakers showed off their balance with five girls in double figures as they sprinted past the visiting Wildcats 71-54 in a non-league girls basketball game.

Indian Lake is now 2-1 on the season.

“Giving up 54 points is a little more than I would like, but when we score in the 70s like we did tonight, we can be tough to beat,” said Indian Lake head coach Tim McMahon.
