Riverside senior Ashtyn Defibaugh brought home two world titles and broke five state records on Sunday at the World Association of Bench Lifters and Dead Lifters World Powerlifting Championships at the Peppermill Hotel Spa & Casino in Reno, Nev.

The five-foot, 111-pound Defibaugh bench pressed 99 pounds in the 123-pound, 18-19 age group, to set two state records and grab the world title.
In the dead lift, she lifted a personal-high of 236 pounds to break three state records and to win the gold medal.
Defibaugh has been a part of the Riverside powerlifting team for the last three years. She is a daughter of Staci Severt of DeGraff and Mike Defibaugh of Bellefontaine.
