West Liberty-Salem’s Jamie Peterson capped a strong sophomore campaign with a selection to the all-Ohio Heritage Conference first team.
Peterson was the lone local player named to the first team.
The Tigers’ Rachel Loffing was a second-team pick, while WL-Salem’s Kylee Hormann and Triad’s Jenna Welty and Hannah Watkins were honorable mention selections.
League champion Springfield Catholic Central had the player of the year in Ally Duncan.
Joining Peterson and Duncan on the first team were Mechanicsburg’s Courtney Hiltebran, Greeneview’s Leah Tobe, Cedarville’s Jamie Huston, SCC’s Chloe Brandewie and Southeastern’s Lindsay Toops.
Along with Loffing, the second team consisted of SCC’s Lauren Hoendorf, Cedarville’s Kylee Beste, Mechanicsburg’s Gina Gano, Greeneview’s Taylor Sage and Southeastern’s Kalie Entler.
Rounding out the honorable mention list were Mechanicsburg’s Katie Bush, Cedarville’s Ellie Sizer and Jessica Rogers, SCC’s Stephanie Lones and Southeastern’s Lexie Perry.
