Bellefontaine won by scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-14 in a non-league matchup.
The event raised nearly $200 for breast cancer research. Volley For The Cure is promoted by the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association, and schools in the state are encouraged to conduct charity matches to help benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
T-shirts were sold for Monday’s match and a 50/50 raffle and bake sale also generated money for the cause.
The win improves the Chieftains to 12-8 on the season. Riverside falls to 6-14.
