Riverside, WL-Salem both go 0-2 in volleyball tri-matches


Riverside’s volleyball squad went 0-2 in a home non-league tri-match Saturday after defeating Emmanuel Christian and losing to Southeastern.

The Pirates started by falling to the Trojans 25-15, 25-12 and then fell to the Eagles 22-25, 27-25, 26-24.

Against Southeastern, Kerri Meade had five kills, Jessica Davis tallied five points and Brooke Hickey added five assists for Riverside.

In the loss to Emmanuel Christian, Meade led RHS with 16 points, eight aces and eight kills, Davis had six points, Hickey recorded seven kills, Taylor Stevens had 10 digs and Sam Egbert chipped in with 16 assists.
