Chieftains claim battle with Raiders

Bellefontaine’s volleyball squad rallied to beat visiting Benjamin Logan 21-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-19 on Tuesday in a local Central Buckeye Conference crossover contest.

The Chieftains improve their record to 10-8 overall, while the Raiders slip to 12-7.

Kenzie Brunswick fueled Bellefontaine’s attack with 19 kills, 18 digs and two blocks. Kameren Haley had 14 kills, 16 digs and was 16-16 serving, Jazmyn Haley recorded 18 digs and six kills, Jordan Lininger tallied 43 assists and 10 digs, Amanda Case had 20 digs and was 18-19 serving and Carley Strzalka added eight digs and was perfect serving 19-19.

Alex Thompson led the Raiders’ efforts with 16 kills and six blocks, while Taylor Quay had 17 kills and Katie Bisel added five kills and three blocks.
