The early going of the 2013 football season has not been exactly what Bellefontaine and Benjamin Logan had hoped for going in.
At 1-2, Bellefontaine is coming off a 35-20 loss to Urbana in a game that the Chiefs trailed by five touchdowns at halftime.
Benjamin Logan has yet to taste victory after three straight lopsided losses.
Both squads are looking to get on track as they prepare for their annual Logan County battle at 7:30 p.m. Friday night at Ben Logan.
“We have made progress in a bunch of areas, but the problem is we have not yet put everything together,” said Bellefontaine coach Toby Smith. “We have to find a way to put together a complete football game.”
“The positive thing I have seen is we have gotten better every week,” said Ben Logan head coach Carleton Cotner. “The problem we continue to have is we are hurting ourselves. When we have chances to get off the field on defense, or when we have opportunities to score on offense, we have to capitalize on them.”
