The Lakers move their record to 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the CBC, while the Chieftains fall to 1-2, 0-1.
“Our guys really battled and gritted out a solid victory,” said Indian Lake boys head coach Jon Shoffstall. “For us to come here on the road and get a win feels great. We got an early lead. However, we did not finish the job when we should have.”
“Give credit to (BHS coach Steve Henry) and his guys because they never gave up and really gave us everything we wanted. I’m really excited for our players and our program because it has been some time since we have gotten a win against Bellefontaine. This win was a total team effort and we are extremely happy to get our first CBC win of the season.”
