IL hangs on to top Kenton in five sets

Indian Lake’s volleyball team squeezed out a five-set win over visiting Kenton on Monday 25-18, 17-25, 25-18, 20-25, 15-10 in a tightly contested non-league battle.

The win bumps the Lakers to 2-4.

Gabi Maier led Indian Lake with nine kills and Michelle Grider recorded eight aces.

Indian Lake also won the junior varsity game 25-9, 25-19. Courtney Runkle led the way with five aces.

Indian Lake travels to Benjamin Logan today for a local Central Buckeye Conference game.
