Bellefontaine’s varsity volleyball team improved its season record to 2-0 with a 25-18, 25-17, 22-25, 25-13 win over visiting Kenton on Thursday.

“We struggled a little bit in game three,” said BHS head coach Tara Zedeker. “Once we gave them a chance to come back, it was hard to get momentum back. I am extremely proud that the girls did not get down, they took a deep breath and went into game four playing like they know how to.”
Jazmyn Haley had a dominating effort to spark Bellefontaine. She tallied 16 kills, was 23-24 serving and added nine digs.
MacKenzie Brunswick and Kameren Haley also enjoyed strong outings. Brunswick notched 12 kills, 15 digs and three solo blocks and Haley had 10 kills and 10 digs.
