The Bellefontaine Easton Water Acme baseball team improved its record to 15-3 with a pair of wins over Vandalia-Butler on Saturday.
Bellefontaine won the opener 10-3 and took the second game 3-0.
In the 10-3 victory, Joe Oliver was the winning pitcher after going six innings on the hill. He scattered seven hits, struck out two and walked five.
Jordan Baughman went 3-4 and Daniel Boy went 2-4 with four RBI to lead Bellefontaine at the plate.
Auston Benton doubled and singled and Gauge Hayman added an RBI for Easton Water.
In the second game, Bellefontaine made the most of its three hits to get the win.
John Kirby went the distance on the mound to get the win. Kirby allowed five hits and one walk while striking out four.
Drake Roebuck had a hit and RBI to fuel Bellefontaine’s offense. Kirby and Hayman also had hits in the win.
