Vandalia-Butler pushed across an unearned run in the fourth inning and it proved to be the difference as Vandalia tripped Bellefontaine Easton Water by a 3-2 score in Acme summer baseball action Tuesday night.
Easton Water is now 10-2 on the season.
Vandalia scored twice in the opening inning and then upped its lead to three in the fourth frame.
Bellefontaine battled back with two runs in the fifth inning, but could not get any closer.
Easton Water was limited to three hits on the night, with those coming from Drake Roebuck, Tyler Jones and Kyle Brunner.
Daniel Boy and Brunner each had an RBI for Bellefontaine.
Jarrod Houchin pitched for Bellefontaine and struck out seven over six innings of work. He allowed just four hits, while walking three.
Easton Water plays at home against the Xenia Scouts tonight at 6:30 p.m.
