McCulla’s Sew and Vac notches win

West Liberty McCulla’s Sew and Vac defeated Zanesfield II in T-ball action Friday.

Leading the offense for the winners were Aaron Campbell with a home run, Lance Campbell with a triple, Caleb Larson with a triple and double and Sam Parazas and Kennedy Wallace each with a double.


Huntsville II zaps Lakeview I

Huntsville II Classic Swing Driving Range dropped Lakeview I 9-1 in a recent Farm League matchup.

Alex Barnes earned the win on the mound for Huntsville II with five strikeouts.

Offensively for the winners, Reid Notestine had two hits including a triple and Nash Eaton had a double.

For Lakeview II, Lukas Wisener had two hits including a double.


Huntsville II downs Bellefontaine II

Huntsville II McKeestown Trading Post dropped Bellefontaine II Dairy Queen 16-8 and improved its record to 13-0 in a recent Little League game.

Ethan Fulkerson, Adrian Ramos, John Zumberger and Garrett Gross combined for eight strikeouts on the mound for Huntsville II.

Offensively, Gross led the way with three-run home run, Seth Shields had a triple, Skyler Losh hit a double and Fulkerson added four RBI.

For Bellefontaine II, Sopher went 3-3 with a triple and Stolly had two hits.


Lions Club rolls past Maple Leaf

Bellefontaine Lions Club dropped Maple Leaf 24-6 in five innings in a recent Pony League matchup.

Offensively for Lions Club, Ryan Sebring had a double with three RBI, Javon Warner had a triple, Hayden Smith had a double, Turner Scott had three RBI, Xavier Ziegler had two RBI and Reid Gleason and Dillon Robb had multiple hits.

Ridgemont blanks East Liberty

Ridgemont recently blanked East Liberty 11-0 in a Pony League meeting.

Cade McKinley earned the win with seven strikeouts and gave up just three hits on the mound.

Offensively, Cameron Smith had two doubles with three RBI, Hayden Ferrell and McKinley each had two hits including a double.



Washington clips Huntsville

Washington Seeley Farms managed to edge Huntsville 12-11 to earn its fifth consecutive win in a recent 12-and-under softball contest.

McKenzie Foster earned the win in the pitching circle for Washington with 10 strikeouts.

Offensively, Lindsay Berg hit a triple and Alexis Stroud had two RBI.

For Huntsville, Kaylee Foreman went 3-3 with a triple and a double.
