Bellefontaine youth track program hosts meet

The Bellefontaine Parks and Recreation Department hosted its third track meet of the season this week.

In the boys 7-8 age group, C.J. Wilson earned first-place finishes in the broad jump, the softball throw, the 50 and the 100. Miles Wilcoxin added a first-place finish in the 200.

Colton Costin led the boys 9-10 age group with wins in the broad jump, the softball throw, the 50, the 100, the 200 and the 400. Max Varner won the 800 and the 1,600.

In the boys 11-12 age group, Garrett Jenkins won the softball throw, the 400 and the 800, Alex Freyhof won the 100 and the 200, Brandon Hayes won the broad jump and Tate Campbell won the 1,600.
