Benjamin Logan graduate Nicole Fawcett helped the U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team win a pair of matches in the Pan American Cup in Callao, Peru.
The U.S. team beat Trinidad & Tobago 25-13, 25-12, 25-13 on Monday and then won over Puerto Rico 28-30, 23-25, 25-14, 25-17, 15-13.
In the win over Trinidad & Tobago, Fawcett had nine points and six aces in two sets of action.
Fawcett had a huge effort against Puerto Rico, leading all scorers with 30 points on 25 kills, two blocks and three aces. She scored six points in the deciding fifth set.
The U.S. squad will conclude pool play today with a match against Argentina.
