Cardinals fly past WL-Salem in OHC action

Triad found its groove early Thursday as it handled host West Liberty-Salem 19-2 in six innings in a local Ohio Heritage Conference game.

The Cardinals improve to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the OHC, while the Tigers remain winless at 0-4, 0-2.

Triad grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first inning and added four more runs in the top of the third inning for a 6-0 score. The Cardinals boosted their lead to 10-0 by tacking on four more runs in the fourth inning.
