Hilliker swimmers make splash at regional meet

The Bellefontaine Hilliker Heat swim team capped its season with a standout effort at the Southwest Ohio Swim League A Championships last weekend.

On the girls side, the 200 open freestyle relay team of Emma Smith, Shelby Phillips, Sarah Mally and Jessica Miller placed second.

In the 8-and-under division, Sarah Fulmer was third in the 50 freestyle, fifth in the 100 freestyle, 10th in the 25 backstroke and 10th in the 25 freestyle, Mia Stallard took first in the 25 backstroke, third in the 25 butterfly and ninth in the 25 freestyle and Junette Ly was second in the 100 individual medley, sixth in the 25 breaststroke and 12th in the 25 freestyle.
