Dayton Christian runs away from Riverside

Dayton Christian jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as it cruised past visiting Riverside 58-29 in a non-league boys basketball game Friday.

With the loss, the Pirates end the regular season with a 6-16 mark.

Riverside struggled early as Dayton Christian raced to a 20-8 lead after the first quarter.

The Pirates outscored the Warriors 11-9 in the second quarter, but trailed by 10 (29-19) at halftime.
