Hormann, a senior forward, scored 27 points as the Tigers handled visiting Cedarville 60-41 in an OHC contest.

The Tigers are now 14-4 overall and 10-1 in the OHC. WL-Salem is currently tied with Greeneview for first place in the league standings.

The Tigers and Rams battle Friday for sole possession of first place. WL-Salem first had to take care of its business against Cedarville (1-14, 1-10).

“With that Greeneview game coming up Friday, I did have some concern about our focus for tonight’s game,” said WL-Salem head coach Aaron Hollar. “I told our guys on Monday to give us 24 more hours of their attention for Cedarville.”
