Triad’s Watkins travels to Netherlands for softball tournament

Triad softball player Hannah Watkins recently participated in the World Cup indoor softball tournament in Netherlands.

She was a member of the Stripes squad and was one of two pitchers on her team. Watkins helped her team to a third-place finish. The Stripes finished behind a team from Netherlands and a team from Czechoslovakia.

Watkins was joined on her team by three other players from Ohio, two each from Pennsylvania and Michigan and one from North Carolina.
