Indian Lake wrestlers take runner-up honors at Salley George

Indian Lake’s wrestling team gave another strong performance by placing second at the Salley George Invitational Saturday in Marion over the weekend.

The Lakers placed 10 wrestlers with one champion and three other finalists.

“Overall, we wrestled pretty well,” said Indian Lake head coach Scott Tressler. “However, I think that we still have a ways to go before sectionals start in 17 days.

“I was happy for our guys who wrestled aggressively for their whole match and were able to be successful doing it.”
